Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) Bolted Tank Technology is an advanced tank construction method. It begins with the selection of special high-strength steel, specifically engineered for enameling, as the base substrate. Through a specialized firing process, a highly inert, anti-corrosion vitreous enamel layer is fused to the substrate surface. This process creates standardized steel panels, or modules.
These modules are then packed and shipped to the construction site. There, they undergo a rapid and efficient installation process with minimal resource consumption, culminating in the final assembly of the tank structure.
Compared to other tank types (such as concrete tanks, welded steel tanks, and Lipp tanks), GFS bolted tanks represent a significant innovation in materials, corrosion protection technology, and installation methodology. It is a globally recognized, mature, and advanced tank construction technology.
