Biogas purification with membrane technology - achieving the highest possible methane yield through membranes with high separation efficiency.
At the core of our biogas upgrading system lies membrane technology. In addition to biogas upgrading, OPM can also provide technology for landfill gas upgrading. Biogas upgrading makes use of membrane technology whereas landfill gas upgrading makes use of membrane technology in combination with PSA technology. Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) Bolted Tank Technology is an advanced tank construction method. It begins with the selection of special high-strength steel, specifically engineered for enameling, as the base substrate. Through a specialized firing process, a highly inert, anti-corrosion vitreous enamel layer is fused to the substrate surface. This process creates standardized steel panels, or modules.
These modules are then packed and shipped to the construction site. There, they undergo a rapid and efficient installation process with minimal resource consumption, culminating in the final assembly of the tank structure.
Compared to other tank types (such as concrete tanks, welded steel tanks, and Lipp tanks), GFS bolted tanks represent a significant innovation in materials, corrosion protection technology, and installation methodology. It is a globally recognized, mature, and advanced tank construction technology.
In the production of (bio-)LNG, a market standard at the inlet of a liquefaction process is <50 ppm CO2. This limit is set due to the risk of freeze-out/crystallization of CO2 in the LNG liquefaction process. Common methods to reduce the CO2 concentration at the inlet of the liquefaction process typically include amine scrubbing or thermal swing adsorption (TSA).
